* Flash Flood Warning for...
Harrison County in southern Mississippi...
Western Jackson County in southern Mississippi...
* Until 730 PM CDT
* At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gulfport, Biloxi, Long Beach, St. Martin, D'iberville, Latimer,
Vancleave, Lyman, Gulf Hills and Gulfport Airport.
Additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are possible in
the warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

At 608 PM CDT, emergency management and law enforcement agencies
reported flash flooding of primary and secondary roads in Gulfport
and Vancleave. Flash flooding is already occurring, and additional
rainfall could lead to additional flooding.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Flood waters were mostly receding, but residual street flooding and
additional heavy rain in some areas will result in additional or
continued street flooding. An Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory
has been issued for Harrison County through 930 pm. Please continue
to heed any remaining road closures and do not drive through flooded
roads.
