* Flash Flood Warning for...
Tyler County in southeastern Texas...
Northeastern Hardin County in southeastern Texas...
Jasper County in southeastern Texas...
* Until 600 PM CDT
* At 124 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving into the
warned area from the south and west. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen across southern portions of Tyler County and will
cotninue to expand north this afternoon. Flash flooding is
expected to develop this afternoon as rainfall rates contiue to
increase.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jasper, Woodville, Kirbyville, Colmesneil, Chester, Ebenezer, Fred,
Rockland, Warren, Town Bluff, Wildwood, Browndell, Magnolia
Springs, Mt. Union, Spurger, Roganville, Harrisburg, Ivanhoe, Sam
Rayburn Dam and Hillister.
Additional rainfall amounts of two to six inches with locally higher
amounts are possible in the warned area this afternoon.
