The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Custer County in central Nebraska...

* Until 645 AM CDT Wednesday

* At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Broken Bow, Arnold, Callaway, Sargent, Ansley, Merna, Mason City,
  Oconto, Anselmo, Comstock, Berwyn, Victoria Springs State
  Recreation Area, Weissert, Westerville, Lillian, Walworth, Lodi,
  Buckeye, Finchville and Round Valley.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 73 and 120.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 250 and 304.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 249 and 306.

across Custer county. Radar estimates 2 to 4 inches of rain has 
fallen over Custer county over the past several hours.

warned area.
