Manati Municipality in Puerto Rico... * Until 1145 PM AST Thursday * At 1138 AM AST, Rio Grande de Manati crested around midnight this morning at 32.90 feet where flood stage is 25 feet. It was falling this morning, however additional rains in the last 3 hours of one half to one and one quarter inches have caused it to hold above moderate flood stage of 31 feet. It will take the greater part of the day in order for the Manati to subside to below flood stage. Inclusive, more rain is expected to form in the Manati basin well up stream in the interior of Puerto Rico, further retarding a return to normal levels. At the river's current level some flooding out of its banks along road 667 is expected in Cachete in Manati. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
