* Until 1015 PM CDT
* At 720 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. One to three inches of rain
have fallen, especially across eastern Jefferson Davis and western
Covington County and also into down into Columbia in Marion
County. Some of this heaviest rainfall looks to move
southwest towards Columbia over the next hour or two.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Kokomo, Holly Springs, Sumrall, Morgantown, Goss, Bunker
Hill, Pickwick, Society Hill, Improve, Melba, Seminary and
Bassfield.
Additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are possible in
the warned area.

JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTIES...
At 826 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain fell across
the area in about an hour to an hour and a half, especially near
Columbia. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Columbia, Kokomo, Holly Springs, Sumrall, Morgantown, Goss, Bunker
Hill, Pickwick, Society Hill, Improve, Melba, Seminary and Bassfield.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
