...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following streams in Indiana...
East Fork White River...White River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash
River...Wildcat Creek...
.Extensive lowland flooding will develop along rivers in central and
southern Indiana by Friday. Significant flooding is possible along
the Wabash River in western Indiana. Flooding will be similar to
what occurred in January.
Rainfall of up to one-half of an inch fell in portions of central and
northern Indiana this morning. Much heavier rain will fall this
afternoon, evening and tonight. Rainfall totals By Thursday afternoon
will range from an inch in central Indiana to more than two inches
in northern Indiana.
Flooding will affect extensive agricultural lands, local river roads,
river parks and possibly a few residential areas. Flooding will last
from one day in central Indiana to more than a week in southwest
Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

Road to just south of the bridge over the Wabash River. Tippecanoe
CR 950 W south of CR 75 S is completely flooded from the Wabash
Bottoms Janssen Tract area to Warren CR 350 N in the Black Rock
Preserve Area. Four residences on high ground along CR 950 W cannot
access CR 950 W by land vehicles. Barton Beach and N River Rds
closed. Local roads in the Granville Bridge area and homes near N
9th St also affected.

Extensive backwater flooding of Minnow Slough, Sugar Creek and
Lamotte Creek in Palestine area. Numerous river cabins surrounded
by water across the river from Merom Bluff. Backyards of a few
residences southeast of Palestine along East River Road flood.

Indiana...

River...Wildcat Creek...
.Widespread lowland flooding will develop along rivers in central and
southern Indiana by Friday. Significant flooding is possible along
the Wabash River in western Indiana. Flooding will be similar to
what occurred in January.
Rainfall of up to two inches fell across portions of western
Indiana on Wednesday with lighter amounts further east.
Additional rainfall of up an inch is expected across the state
Wednesday night and Thursday.
Flooding will affect extensive agricultural lands, local river roads,
river parks and possibly a few residential areas. Flooding will last
from one day in portions of central Indiana to more than a week in
southwest Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.
