* Until 415 AM CDT Sunday.
* At 821 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Glendale and Westfall.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.
This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 215 and 243.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN...NORTHEASTERN ELLSWORTH AND NORTHWESTERN
SALINE COUNTIES...
At 902 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing very
heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall rates are likely
approaching or even exceeding 2 inches per hour. Total rainfall
amounts across southeast Lincoln county over the past several hours
likely ranges from 3 to 6 inches. Additional rainfall may exceed 2
or more inches. Consequently, flash flooding is likely.
Those who live along or near streams, rivers or creeks across
southeast Lincoln, northern Ellsworth and northwest Saline counties
should closely monitor the water levels and move to higher ground if
needed.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
