Portage County in central Wisconsin...
Waushara County in central Wisconsin...
* Until 545 PM CDT.
* At 1150 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of slow-moving
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar
estimates 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen this morning. This
rainfall, combined with heavy rain from yesterday, will result in
flash flooding to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Wautoma, Berlin, Redgranite,
Randolph, Whiting, Amherst, Plainfield and Lake Wazeecha.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

At 1237 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 2 to 3 inches of rain have
already fallen earlier this morning. Radar has also shown a
diminishing trend of the precipitation, thus the flash flood warning
may be canceled early.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Stevens Point, Wautoma, Berlin, Redgranite, Randolph, Whiting,
Amherst, Plainfield, Plover and Stockton.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area, especially over southern Waushara county.
