* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Floyd County in northwestern Georgia...

* Until 115 AM EDT

* At 715 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have 
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. 
  Additional rainfall amounts over one inch are possible in the 
  warned area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rome, Cave Spring, Shannon, Lindale and Coosa. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM EDT FOR
FLOYD COUNTY...

At 1056 PM EDT, Doppler radar showed all precipitation has ended in 
Floyd County, however earlier this evening between 2.5 and 3.5 
inches of rain fell from around Cave Spring to Lindale and Rome and 
flooding is likely to continue for a couple of more hours on creeks 
and streams as well as some standing water on roads and in low-lying 
areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rome, Cave Spring and Lindale and Coosa.
