The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Wyandotte County in northeastern Kansas...
  North central Johnson County in east central Kansas...

* Until 130 AM CDT

* At 1023 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding 
  with water over several roadways across the warned area. Up to one 
  inch of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Shawnee, Bonner Springs, Edwardsville, Kansas City, Maywood and
  Piper.

Additional rainfall amounts of an inch are possible in the warned 
area.

Flood waters are possible along Turkey Creek.
