The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 8 AM to 8 PM EDT Sunday. HAZARDOUS WEATHER... * Southwest winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph as a cold front passes Sunday morning. * Wind gusts will peak closer to 50 mph immediately downwind of Saginaw Bay over Huron and Tuscola counties. * Wind will remain gusts and veer gradually to the northwest during the afternoon, then diminishing slowly into the evening hours. IMPACTS... * Tree limbs and power lines will likely be downed from the winds. * Scattered power outages can also be expected. * Loose objects will be blown around quite easily in wind of this magnitude.
