* At 625 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between three and four inches
of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

NORTHEASTERN ASHTABULA AND SOUTHWESTERN ERIE COUNTIES...
At 707 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in the
Fairview and Girard areas. Water rescues were occurring on State
Route 98 and Middle Road in Fairview where cars were inundated with
water.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Conneaut, Fairview, Girard, North Kingsville, Lake City, Platea,
McKean, Kelloggsville, Avonia and Middleboro.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN ASHTABULA AND SOUTHWESTERN ERIE COUNTIES...
At 848 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding in
Millcreek Township where between 4 and 5 inches of rain have fallen
early this evening.
Flooding in Millcreek Township included an estimated 100 homes in
the area that were damaged by flood water or had significant
basement flooding. Ten roads were also reported closed and one home
located on a bluff that collapsed due to flowing flood water.
Significant flooding was occurred in Fairview and Lake City where
stranded motorists had to be rescued from their cars, some with
water to the windows.
Additional flooding in the area is very likely.

Kelloggsville, Avonia and Middleboro.
