* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of...
  Screven County in southeastern Georgia...
  Bulloch County in southeastern Georgia...
  Effingham County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 500 PM EDT

* At 412 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of
  Bay, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. 

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Newington, Oliver, Egypt, Shawnee, Leefield, Clyo and Kildare. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted, act quickly and move to a

interior room.

Springfield, moving northeast at 40 mph.
