  Northeastern Allegany County in western New York...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 523 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
  Belfast, or 14 miles west of Hornell, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. 

  IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage 
           to trees and power lines. 

* Locations impacted include...
  Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park, Mount Morris, Conesus,

At 551 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles southeast of Belfast to near Portageville,
moving northeast at 35 mph.
