The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Macon County in southeastern Alabama...

* Until 300 AM CDT

* At 1200 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Two to four inches of rain have 
  fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Tuskegee, Notasulga, Milstead, Shorter, Franklin, Liverpool, Lake
  Tuskegee, Hardaway, Tuskegee National Forest, Tysonville,
  Victoryland, Davisville, Liberty City, I 85 Rest Area, Uphapee
  Creek, Cross Keys and Moton Field Municipal Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
