The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Warren County in east central New York...
  West central Washington County in east central New York...

* Until 545 PM EDT
    
* At 517 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over West Glens Falls, or near Glens Falls, moving
  northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Glens Falls and West Glens Falls around 525 PM EDT. 
  Hudson Falls and Glens Falls North around 530 PM EDT. 

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Queensbury, French Mountain, Dunham Basin, Smiths Basin, Adamsville,
Fort Ann, Kingsbury, Baldwin Corner, South Hartford and Pattens
Mills.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning has been cancelled.  However heavy rain is
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
east central New York.
