The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Mora County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 600 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles northwest of Valmora, or 16 miles west of Wagon
  Mound, moving south at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Valmora around 635 PM MDT. 

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 367 and 376.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MORA COUNTY IS CANCELLED...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and 
a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. 
Very large hail and damaging winds are possible with this storm.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern New Mexico.
