* Forecast: The river will crest near 14.7 feet by tomorrow evening.
The river will fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon.
* Impact: At 14.0 feet...Both banks begin to overflow. Minor damages
begin.
* Impact: At 9.0 feet...Above 8.7 to 9.2 feet, the Corps will raise
the gates out of the water, allowing for "open river" conditions.
This corresponds to a discharge of approximately 110,000 cfs.

Best chance of widespread showers and storms continues to be from Wednesday evening to the early overnight hours. Best chance for sub-freezing temperatures at this time appear to be over southeast Missouri/eastern Ozarks where lighter winds are expected. West/southwest winds may be high enough for areas further north and east to prevent temperatures from dropping into the low 30s.
