...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Wabash River...White River...



.Lowland flooding will return to the Wabash River in west central 
Indiana early next week.  Rains of one to one and a half inches
will fall in east central Illinois and west central Indiana on
Saturday.

Renewed flooding in west central Indiana will be not be as extensive
as high water experienced in late December and earlier this month. 
However...flood waters in back water areas will freeze because of 
the cold weather and may cause problems on any flooded local roads.

Rainfall during the weekend is not expected to exceed an inch in
most of central and southern Indiana. This will cause elevated
river levels. Extensive flooding along the Wabash River in southwest
Indiana and southeast Illinois will continue to recede through the
weekend with levels falling to near flood stage next week.
 

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

Indiana early next week.  Liquid precipitation of one half to one and
a half inches fell across the area Saturday and Saturday night. This
will cause many points along the Wabash River to rise above flood
stage again.

Renewed flooding in west central Indiana will be not be as extensive
as experienced in late December and earlier this month. 
However...flood waters in back water areas will freeze because of 
the cold weather and may cause problems on any flooded local roads.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Wabash River...

.Lowland flooding is continuing along portions of the Wabash River 
in western Indiana due to recent precipitation. Liquid precipitation 
of one half to one and a half inches fell across the area Saturday 
and Saturday night. This has caused many points along the Wabash 
River to rise above flood stage again.

Renewed flooding in west central Indiana will be not be as extensive
as experienced in late December and earlier this month. 
However...flood waters in back water areas will freeze because of 
the cold weather and may cause problems on any flooded local roads. 
Most of the flooding will come to an end this week.
