warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Embarras River at Lawrenceville affecting Lawrence County

.Synopsis...Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain expected from this afternoon
through Thursday evening will cause the Embarras River at Lawrenceville to 
rise above flood stage during Thursday afternoon.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil 
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to prepare for flooding.
