THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EFFINGHAM COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT
    
* AT 500 PM CDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED A THUNDERSTORM
  PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. 2 TO 3 AND A HALF
  INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN THE SOUTHWESTERN AND NORTHEASTERN
  PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN
  SHORTLY.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A HALF OF AN INCH TO AN INCH ARE
POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 INTERSTATE 57 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 143 AND 168.
 INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 79 AND 104.
