WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO HEAT INTO THE UPPER 60S TO MID 70S
DESPITE THE OVERCAST SKIES. WITH DECENT MOISTURE...INSTABILITY
INCREASE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON AND SHOULD ALLOW SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP NEAR THE JAMES VALLEY IN THE EARLY/MID
AFTERNOON THEN ADVANCE EASTWARD INTO THE I29 CORRIDOR BY EARLY

THUNDERSTORMS BECOME LIKELY FROM FAR SOUTHEAST SD INTO NORTHWEST
IOWA AND PARTS OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
THROUGH DAYBREAK. SEVERE THREAT IS VERY LOW AT THIS POINT...WITH

SLOWLY PUSHES TO THE EAST IN CONJUNCTION WITH A PV ANOMALY
ROTATING OUT OF NEBRASKA. INSTABILITY LOOKS TO BE WANING THROUGH
THE MORNING...SO THINK ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE OF A MORE
ISOLATED NATURE AT THAT POINT. WITH CLOUDS AND SHOWERS IN THE EAST
AND COLD AIR ADVECTION BEHIND THE FRONT...IT WILL BE A COOLER DAY

THE AREA DURING THAT TIME FRAME. THERMAL PROFILES BEGIN TO COOL WITH
THE PASSAGE OF THIS SYSTEM...AND HIGHS ON FRIDAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE
50S ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA. RELATED TO THIS...AS SKIES CLEAR OUT ON
FRIDAY NIGHT AND WINDS DROP OFF...LOOKING AT THE RISK OF SOME FROST
