.Heavy rain earlier last week has led to rises along the
Black...Yellow and Wisconsin rivers. The Black and Yellow Rivers have
crested and are falling. However...minor to moderate flooding is
occurring and will continue over the next couple of days. The
Wisconsin River is expected to crest Monday evening. 

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast 
precipitation.

.Runoff from heavy rain early last week continues to provide
mainly minor flooding on parts of the Yellow and Wisconsin
Rivers. As that water runs into the Mississippi River, minor
flooding is also expected to develop in some areas...mainly
around Wabasha and then from McGregor down river to Guttenberg
Dam. Water levels on the Mississippi will likely remain high
right on into next weekend.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast 
precipitation.

.Heavy rain last week has led to rises and will cause minor
flooding at a couple of locations along the Mississippi and
Wisconsin rivers. The rivers are expected to crest by the end of this
week.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast 
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two 
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility 
vehicles. Turn Around, Don't Drown!

  flood stage by Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 16.5 feet...Water may begin to go over the road covering
  part of Highway C near Highway 18.

for flooding. Elsewhere, minor flooding is still expected on the
Mississippi River from McGregor to Guttenberg into the weekend.
