...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
central and southern Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Big Walnut Creek...Buck Creek...Driftwood River...
  East Fork White River...Eel River...Mill Creek...Muscatatuck 
  River...Sugar Creek...Wabash River...White River...Youngs Creek...


.Widespread flooding of streams and rivers is expected in central
and southern Indiana through Saturday morning.  For much of central
Indiana...streams will be at their highest levels this year. Flooding
in southern Indiana will not exceed levels seen in March but may
extend beyond April 20.

Early Friday afternoon river and streams were high with minor
flooding in progress at a few locations.  Streams in much of central
Indiana were rising as a result of Thursday morning rains and will
continue to rise through much of Friday.  Much of central Indiana has
received 1 to more than 3 inches of rain since Tuesday.

Flooding will affect some local roads...low agricultural land and
some river parks through Saturday in central Indiana and much longer
in southern and western Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  CR 700N one quarter of a mile east of Shelby CR 875W may begin at 
  this level especially if Sugar Creek at New Palestine is 7 feet or 
  higher.

  Tuesday early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage 
  Wednesday evening.
* At 20.5 feet...Lawrenceport Road just east of Lawrenceport and on 
  the south side of river begins to flood around this level.  By 22 
  feet this road is impassable.  During typical floods in this 
  area...this portion of the road can be flooded by 5 to more than 10
  feet of water.  During the January 2005 flood...this area would 
  have been near the "bottom" of the river...underwater by nearly 17 
  feet.  In the great March 1913 flood...more than 25 feet of water 
  would have covered this location.

  ditch is out of its banks.

  Tuesday early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage 
  Sunday morning.
* At 20.9 feet...During June 2010 State Road 257 south of Washington 
  began to flood at this crest level at Petersburg after Shoals 
  crested at 18.19 feet.  About a week later Petersburg crested at 
  21.34 feet...about one half foot higher...but the water did not 
  reach State Road 257 after Shoals crested at 15.59 feet...about 2.5
  feet lower.  Lost River did not contribute much water during this 
  June flood and locally it was not extremely wet.

Indiana...

  Big Walnut Creek...Buck Creek...Driftwood River...East Fork White

.Widespread flooding of streams and rivers is expected in central
and southern Indiana through Saturday morning.  For much of central
Indiana...streams will be at their highest levels this year. Flooding
in southern Indiana will not exceed levels seen in March but may
extend beyond April 20.

Early Thursday afternoon river and streams were high with minor
flooding in progress at a few locations.  Streams in much of central
Indiana were rising as a result of Thursday morning rains and will
continue to rise through much of Friday.  Much of central Indiana has
received 1 to more than 3 inches of rain since Tuesday.

Flooding will affect some local roads...low agricultural land and
some river parks through Saturday in central Indiana and much longer
in southern and western Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Big Walnut Creek...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...
  Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White River...


.Widespread flooding of streams and rivers is expected in central
and southern Indiana through Saturday morning.  For much of central
Indiana...streams will be at their highest levels this year. Flooding
in southern Indiana will not exceed levels seen in March but may
extend beyond April 20.

Early Thursday afternoon river and streams were high with minor
flooding in progress at a few locations.  Streams in much of central
Indiana were rising as a result of Thursday morning rains and will
continue to rise through much of Friday.  Much of central Indiana has
received 1 to more than 3 inches of rain since Tuesday.

Flooding will affect some local roads...low agricultural land and
some river parks through Saturday in central Indiana and much longer
in southern and western Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  feet this road is impassable.  During typical floods in this 
  area...this portion of the road can be flooded by 5 to more than 10
  feet of water.  During the January 2005 flood...this area would 
  have been near the "bottom" of the river...underwater by nearly 17 
  feet.  In the great March 1913 flood...more than 25 feet of water 
  would have covered this location.

  crested at 18.19 feet.  About a week later Petersburg crested at 
  21.34 feet...about one half foot higher...but the water did not 
  reach State Road 257 after Shoals crested at 15.59 feet...about 2.5
  feet lower.  Lost River did not contribute much water during this 
  June flood and locally it was not extremely wet.
