* At 945 PM Monday the stage was 6.5 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 7 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise 
  to near 8.7 feet by Thursday morning.The river will fall below 
  flood stage by Friday morning.
* At 9 feet...Minor flooding expands along the creek from near 
  Cumming to Alpharetta and Roswell. Backyards of homes off Seale 
  Drive and Gunter Court and portions of the Golf of Georgia begin to
  flood. The Big Creek Greenway experiences significant flooding up 
  to 3 feet deep...which results in closure of most of the paths. 
  This especially occurs upstream and downstream from the gage on 
  Kimball Bridge Road and Rock Hill Park. A large portion of the YMCA
  Campground off Preston Ridge Road will be under a foot of water.

* At 7.0 feet...Minor flooding continues to expand into the natural 
  flood plain of the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at 
  Atlanta Highway or Georgia Highway 9. Large portions of the 
  sidewalk and boardwalk of the Big Creek Greenway will be flooded. 
  The areas under the Georgia 400 Highway and McFarland Road will be 
  covered with around two feet of water. A portion of the sidewalk 
  under Majors Road will be covered with around 3 feet of water.

* At 30 feet...Moderate flooding beings. Significant flooding 
  expands into the woodlands...fields and pastures upstream and 
  downstream from the gage behind the water treatment plant off 
  Mauldin Road. A boat ramp and small parking lot on the upstream and
  right bank side of the Georgia Highway 136 Connector will be under 
  at least 9 feet of water. Flood waters will be approaching athletic
  fields at the Harris River Park on Mauldin Road and additional 
  athletic fields near the boat ramp.

  Luther King Boulevard bridge. The flood waters will be up to two 
  feet deep on portions of the trail and both banks overflow upstream
  from the bridge. Large portions of agricultural lands east of Macon
  and well downstream will be under 1 to 4 feet of water.

  Miller Road and Old River Lane. Several homes on these roads will 
  be under two feet of water. Also a few homes on River Ridge Road 
  will be flooded with a foot of water. Portions of the Riverview

  on Dead River Road in the south end of Montgomery County become 
  flooded.  Portions of Dead River Road will be covered by at least 3

  The Flint River near Montezuma.
* From tomorrow evening until further notice.
* At 9 PM Wednesday the stage was 19.7 feet...and falling.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20 feet.
* Forecast to continue falling through Thursday morning...then begin rising. THe river will rise to above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
  to rise to near 22.4 feet by Sunday early afternoon.
* At 23 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands and 
  extensive flood plain along the river upstream and downstream from 
  the gage on Georgia Highway 26. The access road to Georges Boat 
  Landing will be flooded at least 3 feet deep.

Warning continues for
  The Big Creek near Alpharetta.
* From after midnight tomorrow until late Thursday night.
* At 9 PM Wednesday the stage was 6.9 feet...and rising slowly.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 7 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage overnight tonight and 
  continue to rise to near 7.2 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.The 
  river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow late evening.
* At 7 feet...Flood Stage is reached.  Minor flooding of woodlands 
  and fields begin along the creek between Cumming in Forsyth 
  County...to Alpharetta and Roswell in North Fulton County.  
  Flooding starts to effect portions of The Big Creek Greenway near 
  Alpharetta and some portions may become closed with around one foot
  of water...especially upstream and downstream from the gage on 
  Kimball Bridge Road and near Rock Hill Park. Portions of the YMCA 
  Campground off Preston Ridge Road will begin to flood.

  The Chattahoochee River near Columbus.
* Until Saturday morning.
* At 9 PM Wednesday the stage was 29.7 feet...and nearly steady.
* Minor flooding will continue.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Saturday 
  morning.
* At 30 feet...Minor flooding continues along the river upstream 
  and downstream from the gage on the 14th Street bridge. Large 
  portions of the River Walk in Columbus will be flooded up to 3 feet
  deep. The water level reaches the top of the boat ramp behind the 
  Columbus Convention and Trade Center. The Phenix City Amphitheater 
  in Alabama will be flooded up to two feet deep. Portions of the 
  River Walk in Phenix City will begin to flood.

GA. A FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

THE AXIS OF DEEPEST MOISTURE SHIFTS E AND S WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY NIGHT WITH A SLOW DECREASE OF PRECIP POTENTIAL ACROSS THE
AREA BUT THE HEAVY RAIN CHANCES WILL DIMINISH QUICKLY LATE WEDNESDAY

WPC QPF IS A LITTLE MORE THAN PREVIOUS FORECAST WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES
OF RAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA THROUGH TUESDAY. THERE COULD
BE SOME AREAS IN THE MOUNTAINS APPROACHING 3 INCHES. AS THIS FIRST
WAVE OF PRECIP MOVES OUT...THERE WILL BE ABOUT A 6 TO 12 HOUR BREAK
IN THE RAIN BEFORE THE NEXT WAVE MOVES INTO NORTH GEORGIA LATE
TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THIS SECOND WAVE COULD
PRODUCE ANOTHER 1 TO 2 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN TOTALLY 3 TO 5 INCHES IN
