INDICATE A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING OVER THE WARNED 
AREA. UP TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE HEADWATERS ABOVE 
KANAB CREEK AND JOHNSON CANYON. FLASH FLOODING OFTEN OCCURS WELL 
AFTER THE STORMS MOVE OUT OF THE AREA. THEREFORE THE FLASH FLOOD 
WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT.

AT 745 PM MDT...

RAINFALL OVER THE KANAB CREEK DRAINAGE HAS SLOWED.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS 
OF NEAR 2 INCHES FELL IN THE UPPER KANAB CREEK DRAINAGE EARLIER THIS 
AFTERNOON. IT IS ANTICIPATED DANGEROUS FLOWS ARE ATTENUATING AND THE 
FLASH FLOOD DANGER HAS PASSED.  AS A RESULT...THE FLASH FLOOD 
WARNING FOR THIS WATERWAYS HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.
 
IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CREEK WILL REMAIN AT ELEVATED LEVELS 
THROUGHOUT THE EVENING HOURS.

PLEASE USE CAUTION IF VENTURING NEAR THIS WATERWAY THIS EVENING.
