THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN ELK COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...

* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT.

* AT 722 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.

  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN 
  ACROSS THE AREA...WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 
  INCHES POSSIBLE. AN OBSERVER IN GRENOLA REPORTED 2.25 INCHES OF 
  RAINFALL SINCE 5 PM THIS EVENING.
