VALID 232349Z - 240145Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 60
CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...SEVERE STORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL WILL CONTINUE
TO MOVE ENEWD ACROSS THE REGION AND MAY PERSIST INTO AL.

DISCUSSION...RADAR SHOWS TWO STRONG BOWING STORMS ACROSS NWRN MS AND
NEAR THE ARKLAMISS. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN SHOWING SIGNS UP
INTENSIFICATION WITH AN INCREASE IN SIZE AS WELL AS LIGHTNING.
SURFACE ANALYSIS ALSO SHOWS PRESSURE FALLS ARE MAXIMIZED IN THIS
REGION...AND OTHER ECHOES WERE FORMING JUST AHEAD OF THESE TWO BOWS.
GIVEN VERY STRONG DEEP LAYER SHEAR...A CONTINUED FORWARD PROPAGATION
OF THESE SYSTEMS...ESPECIALLY THE SRN ONE...IS LIKELY. FURTHER
INTENSIFICATION MAY OCCUR AS THE LOW LEVEL JET INCREASES LATER THIS
EVENING IN RESPONSE TO THE UPPER TROUGH.
