SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...

AT 210 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DEPICTED A 
SERIES OF HEAVY RAIN BANDS MOVING TOWARD RHODE ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST 
MASSACHUSETTS. LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING WILL OCCUR. THESE BANDS 
COULD PRODUCE UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN OVER THE COURSE OF AN HOUR. A 
FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THIS AREA. FLASH FLOODING 
CAN DEVELOP VERY RAPIDLY IN URBAN AREAS DUE TO THE FAST RUNOFF OF 
RAIN WATER.
