AT 1136 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS FROM NEAR TO
ABOUT 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DOVER...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
OTHER SHOWERS WERE DEVELOPING FURTHER TO THE SOUTHWEST.
THE PRIMARY AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR GREENSBORO AROUND
1150 AM...FARMINGTON AROUND NOON...AND HOUSTON AROUND 1215 PM. THE
STORMS LIKELY WILL HOLD TOGETHER AND REACH THE NEW JERSEY BAY SHORE
DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON.
VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL FROM THE STORMS...AND WILL CAUSE WATER TO
POND ON ROADS AND QUICKLY FILL POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. AMOUNTS LOCALLY
IN EXCESS OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE.
WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE IF THE STORMS CONTINUE TO
INTENSIFY.
