...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN SUSSEX COUNTY...

AT 545 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM 18 MILES SOUTHEAST OF GEORGETOWN...MOVING EAST AT
15 MPH. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE DELAWARE 
BEACHES.

CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM, THEREFORE 
SEEK SHELTER INDOORS ESPECIALLY IF ON THE BEACH. ALSO, DO NOT SEEK 
SHELTER UNDER TREES WHEN LIGHTNING THREATENS, MOVE INDOORS WHEN A 
THUNDERSTORM APPROACHES.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR WITH THIS STORM, WHICH MAY CAUSE WATER 
TO POND ON ROADS AND QUICKLY FILL ROADSIDE DITCHES. ALSO, GUSTY 
WINDS UP TO 40 MPH AND SMALL HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.
