* AT 135 PM EDT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN
  WERE CONTINUING TO MOVE THROUGH NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW JERSEY.
  BY EARLY AFTERNOON MUCH OF THE REGION HAD RECEIVED 1 TO 3 INCHES
  OF RAIN WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL
  FROM THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING WILL PRODUCE MORE FLOODING.

* AT 755 PM EDT...RAIN WAS FALLING IN PARTS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
  NEW JERSEY. RUNOFF FROM THE RECENT HEAVY RAIN WAS CONTINUING TO
  CAUSE MINOR FLOODING ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS AND IN AREAS
  OF POOR DRAINAGE. RAINFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES WERE COMMON IN
  THE REGION WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THE MINOR FLOODING IS
  EXPECTED TO LINGER THROUGH TONIGHT.
