THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LABETTE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...
  SOUTHEASTERN NEOSHO COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT.

* AT 159 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
A CLUSTER OF THUNDERTORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS NOWATA COUNTY OKLAHOMA. 
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING GRADUALLY NORTHEAST AND SHOULD AFFECT 
LABETTE COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO. RAINFALL RATES FROM THIS 
CLUSTER OF STORMS WILL BE AROUND 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR. 

  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED BETWEEN 1 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN 
ACROSS THE AREA...WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES

THE THREAT FOR VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ENDED FOR THE TIME BEING. 
CONSEQUENTLY...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED. 
HOWEVER...EXCESS RUNOFF FROM EARLIER HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES ACROSS THE 
AREA...AND IS CONTINUING TO PRODUCE AREAS OF FLOODING OVER PORTIONS 
OF LABETTE AND NEOSHO COUNTIES...SO THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING WILL BE 
DOWNGRADED TO AN AREAL FLOOD WARNING. PLEASE REPORT FLOODING TO YOUR 
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
