THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN BRISCOE COUNTY IN THE PANHANDLE OF TEXAS.
  NORTHWESTERN HALL COUNTY IN THE PANHANDLE OF TEXAS.

* UNTIL 600 PM CDT

* AT 532 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BASEBALL SIZE HAIL...AND
  DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR
  BRICE...OR 21 MILES NORTH OF QUITAQUE...AND MOVING NORTH AT 25 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL OTHERWISE IMPACT MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF
  THE INDICATED COUNTIES.
