* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN MEADE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
  SEWARD COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
  SOUTHEASTERN STEVENS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS.

* UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT

* AT 1114 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
  FROM 10 MILES EAST OF CAVE TO 3 MILES EAST OF WOODS TO 13 MILES
  SOUTH OF HUGOTON...MOVING EAST AT 31 MPH.

AT 1110 PM CDT...THE AUTOMATED WEATHER STATION AT HUGOTON REPORTED A 
WIND GUST TO 58 MPH.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS.

BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. IF CAUGHT OUTSIDE
SEEK A STURDY SHELTER AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS
PASSED.
