SOUTHERN CHEROKEE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA * UNTIL 1100 AM CDT * AT 755 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN 7 MILES NORTHWEST OF COOKSON. THE STORM PRODUCING THE HEAVY RAINFALL WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. RADAR INDICATES THAT NEARLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN. ANOTHER 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 1100 AM CDT.
