WITH AN EXTENSIVE CANOPY OF CLOUD-TOP TEMPERATURES LESS THAN MINUS
80C FROM NERN KS ACROSS NWRN MO AND MUCH OF WCNTRL IA. WHILE RADAR
REFLECTIVITY ON THE LEADING EDGE OF THE NRN PORTION OF THE BOW
ECHO...ACROSS CNTRL IA...HAS BEGUN TO SHOW SIGNS OF WEAKENING...
EXPANSIVE STRATIFORM RAIN REGION AND MESOSCALE PRESSURE
PERTURBATIONS HAVE RESULTED IN A CORRIDOR OF INTENSE SURFACE WINDS
IN THE NRN QUADRANT OF THE CONVECTIVE COMPLEX. WIND GUSTS IN THIS
REGION HAVE EXCEEDED 60KT.

CLUSTERS...EXTENDED SWD AND SWWD FROM NRN MO INTO ERN KS. HERE
TOO...SURFACE PRESSURE PERTURBATIONS AS A RESULT OF THE DEEP
CONVECTION HAVE ESTABLISHED A WELL-DEFINED INVERTED TROUGH AXIS FROM
NCNTRL MO TO SERN KS. STRONG LLJ DIRECTED INTO/ACROSS THIS
AXIS...AND INFLUX OF VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS...WILL
CONTINUE TO FUEL STRONG AND OCCASIONALLY SEVERE STORMS ACROSS BOTH
ERN KS AND NRN MO THIS MORNING. IN ADDITION TO SCATTERED HAIL AND
