* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  VAN BUREN COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST IOWA...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF KEOSAUQUA

* UNTIL 500 AM CST SUNDAY

* AT 754 PM CST...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED FLASH FLOODING
  FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO            
  STOCKPORT...DOUDS/LEAND...BIRMINGHAM AND BONAPARTE

* AT 745 PM...A TRAINED SPOTTER AND LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED THAT THE
  DES MOINES RIVER HAD RISEN OUT OF ITS BANKS AT BONAPARTE DUE TO
  ICE JAMS. FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS GOING DOOR TO DOOR AND EVACUATING    
  PERSONS IN BONAPARTE. 

ICE JAMS CAN DEVELOP AND BREAK UP QUICKLY...RESULTING IN RAPID
FLOODING IMMEDIATELY UP OR DOWNSTREAM OF THE JAM. BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A SAFER LOCATION IF FLOODING DEVELOPS.
