THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MERCER COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY
  HUNTERDON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 800 AM EDT

* AT 240 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THAT AN INCH OR TWO OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN IN MUCH OF MERCER 
COUNTY AND HUNTERDON COUNTY.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE EXPECTED DURING 
THE REMAINDER OF THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD.  THE HEAVY RAIN FALLING ON 
THE ALREADY SATURATED GROUND WILL LIKELY RESULT IN FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS, AS WELL AS HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  
ADDITIONALLY, COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS, 
STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 800 AM EDT FOR MERCER AND
HUNTERDON COUNTIES...

AT 500 AM, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT ONE 
TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN THROUGHOUT MUCH OF MERCER 
COUNTY AND HUNTERDON COUNTY DURING THE NIGHT.  AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF 
RAIN MAY FALL BY 800 AM.  AS A RESULT, THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
CONTINUES.

THE HEAVY RAIN FALLING ON THE ALREADY SATURATED GROUND WILL LIKELY 
RESULT IN FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS, AS WELL AS HIGHWAYS 
AND UNDERPASSES MAKING FOR A DIFFICULT MORNING COMMUTE.  DO NOT 
DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS, THE WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK 
IT IS.
