NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN
629 PM CDT MON JUN 27 2005

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WRIGHT COUNTY IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 629 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED RAINFALL TOTALS BETWEEN 3 AND 4 
INCHES ACROSS NORTHWEST WRIGHT COUNTY SINCE 330 PM. THE HEAVY 
DOWNPOURS WERE DUE TO A LINE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE MOVING VERY 
SLOWLY THROUGH THE AREA AND CONTINUE TO SIT OVER NORTHWEST WRIGHT 
COUNTY. THESE STORMS WILL BE IN THE AREA THROUGH AT LEAST 7:30 PM. 

THIS AMOUNT OF RAINFALL WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS TO 
OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS IN NORTHWEST WRIGHT COUNTY. ALSO FLOODING IS 
EXPECTED IN LOW LYING AREAS WHICH INCLUDE DIPS...UNDERPASSES AND LOW 
WATER CROSSINGS ON ROADS.  

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED BY FLOODING INCLUDE...SOUTH 
HAVEN...ANNANDALE...SILVER CREEK...ENFIELD...CLEARWATER...AND HASTY.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
