  FULTON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* AT 543 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
POTENTIAL FLASH FLOODING FROM HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS FROM DOUGLASVILLE 
TO PALMETTO...MOVING NORTH AT 30 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNED AREA INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO  
WINSTON...UNION CITY...MIDWAY...AND FAIRBURN.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS...SUCH AS DEEP CREEK AND BEAR CREEK IN FULTON 
COUNTY...AND SWEETWATER CREEK AND LITTLE BEAR CREEK IN DOUGLAS 
COUNTY. ADDITIONALLY...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES...AS WELL AS
COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND 
OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
