THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  VAL VERDE

* UNTIL 930 AM CDT

* AT 745 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 277 NORTH OF DEL RIO
  TO LOMA ALTA. 

* THE STORM PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER
  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE INDICATED COUNTY.

RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES PER HOUR WERE NOTED ALONG THE WEST 
FORK OF THE SYCAMORE CREEK 10 TO 40 MILES NORTH OF DEL RIO. THESE 
WILL SLOWLY DECREASE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. 

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...
COUNTRY ROADS...AND FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
