THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL PIMA COUNTY IN ARIZONA
    THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...ORO VALLEY...MARANA
  SOUTHERN PINAL COUNTY IN ARIZONA

* UNTIL 930 PM MST

* AT 700 PM MST...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A FLASH FLOOD       
  CONTINUING IN MARANA AND ORO VALLEY. SIGNIFICANT RISES HAVE ALSO   
  BEGUN ALONG BRAWLEY WASH BETWEEN THREE POINTS AND MARANA.

THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS DIMINISHED. HOWEVER THE VERY HEAVY RAIN THIS 
AFTERNOON WILL CONTINUE TO RUN OFF INTO NORMALLY DRY WASHES. SEVERAL 
PEOPLE HAVE TRIED TO DRIVE INTO FLOODED AREAS THIS EVENING AND HAVE 
BECOME STUCK. THE RUNOFF WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO FEED INTO CANADA DEL 
ORO...ALTAR...AND BRAWLY WASHES WHERE SIGNIFICANT RISES ARE EXPECTED.

FLASH FLOODING IS PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS AT NIGHT BECAUSE IT IS VERY 
HARD TO SEE RISING WATER. IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD...TURN AROUND AND 
TAKE ANOTHER ROUTE.

THIS WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUSLY ISSUED FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
THIS AREA.
