THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  TRAVIS
  HAYS

* UNTIL 900 PM CST

* AT 555 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  FROM SAN MARCOS TO DRIPPING SPRINGS TO LAGO VISTA...MOVING NORTH AT
  20 MPH AND SPREADING ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA.  RAINFALL 
  RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WERE NOTED. 

RADAR ESTIMATES 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER 
WESTERN PORTIONS OF HAYS AND TRAVIS COUNTIES.  SOILS HAVE BECOME 
SATURATED AND RUNOFF IS NOW RAPID.  AS A RESULT...FLASH FLOODING CAN 
BE EXPECTED.  A DANGEROUS SITUATION WILL DEVELOP THIS EVENING AS 
RAINFALL CONTINUES.  


A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
