* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

* AT 1006 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER DEWITT COUNTY DRIFTING
SOUTHEAST AROUND 5 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE ONE TO TWO
INCHES...PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS...STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE

DEWITT, GONZALES, FAYETTE AND WILSON COUNTIES...
AT 1240 AM CDT...SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS REMAINED OVER DEWITT,
GONZALES AND FAYETTE COUNTIES. THIS ACTIVITY WAS MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 15 MPH. SINCE THE HEAVIER RAINS HAVE EXITED THE COUNTIES, THE
FLASH FLOOD WARNING WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 1 AM. WATERS WILL BE
RECEDING AT LOW LYING AREAS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT.
