* AT 833 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
OVER MAVERICK COUNTY...OR ABOUT 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF EAGLE PASS...
MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND
ARROYOS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

* AT 1116 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
WARNED AREA.
DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER MANY
LOCATIONS IN THE WARNED AREA. THIS RAIN EVENT IS SLOWLY SHIFTING
FOCUS TOWARD THE GULF COAST. HOWEVER...MANY OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS
ARE TRAINING OVER THE SAME AREA AND WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
HEAVY RAINS THROUGH AT LEAST 1 PM. UP TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN ARE
POSSIBLE BEFORE THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAINS DIMINISHES LATER THIS
AFTERNOON.
FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED AREAS. A LITTLE
OVER A FOOT OF WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST CARS AND TRUCKS. TURN AROUND
