THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BROWNSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN BROOKS COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 715 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 14 MILES WEST OF            
  FALFURRIAS. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 10 MPH   
  AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE RAINFALL RATES FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES AN  
  HOUR OVER NORTHERN BROOKS COUNTY. 

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO   
  OCCUR ACROSS THE MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF NORTHERN BROOKS COUNTY WEST 
  OF FALFURRIAS. 

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...
