THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FAIRBANKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DELTANA AND TANANA FLATS AREA OF ALASKA
  UPPER TANANA VALLEY AND THE FORTYMILE COUNTRY AREA OF ALASKA

* UNTIL 600 AM ADT

* AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE
  ...BIRCH CREEK
  ...SHAW CREEK FLATS
  ...QUARTZ LAKE
  ...POGO MINE

* AT 240 AM ADT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THAT OVER AN INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE PAST 90 MINUTES 
  SOUTH OF SALCHA TO THE SHAW CREEK FLATS FROM A THUNDERSTORM. 
  FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN THIS AREA AS WELL AS IN THE
