THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 230 PM PDT

* AT 1125 AM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF JEAN
  TO SLOAN.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WAS EXPANDING PAST SLOAN
  AND WILL MOVE TO THE NORTH AT 5 MILES AN HOUR.

HEAVY RAIN WILL BE LIKELY ALONG I-15 BETWEEN JEAN AND SLOAN AND 
FLASH FLOODING OF TERRAIN TO THE EAST OF I-15 IS IMMINENT. RADAR 
RAINFALL ESTIMATES AND AUTOMATED GAUGES INDICATE OVER AN INCH OF 
RAIN HAS FALLEN AND MORE WILL FALL BETWEEN 1130 AND 1230 PM. 
TRAVELERS ALONG I-15 NEED TO BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY OF WATER 
OVER THE ROAD OVER THE INTERSTATE.

NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO WASH MOST CARS AWAY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
