EXTREME NORTHWESTERN GARFIELD COUNTY IN UTAH SOUTHWESTERN PIUTE COUNTY IN UTAH * UNTIL 530 PM MDT * AT 357 PM MDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN PIUTE COUNTY...OR ABOUT 9 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JUNCTION. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. THIS WARNING INCLUDES HIGHWAY 89 FROM CIRCLEVILLE TO ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTH OF CIRCLEVILLE. THE HEAVY RAIN COVERS MOST OF THE DRAINAGE AREA FOR COTTONWOOD CREEK...BIRCH CREEK...AND PINE CREEK. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THESE AREAS CONTINUING THE HEAVY RAINFALL. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
